The French rap movement started in the late eighties, so some of the followers of that era are probably well over 30 and ferrying their children around middle-class Melun or Chatou in their Renault Espaces....either that, or they're still cooped up in their leaky apartments in Nanterre, Sarcelles or Aubervilliers, jumping RER turnstiles and happily singing La Marseillaise. |
